Driving without a valid Driver’s Licence
It is an offence to drive without a valid licence. For a licence to be valid it must be current and it must authorise the driving of the correct class.
It is also an offence to cause or permit another person to drive without a valid licence. Here, commonly, an employer or a parent can be at fault.
Defences here can vary according to the circumstances.
